Built on four decades of high-voltage transformer experience
Alltech Power was established to bring specialist transformer and HV capability to the contractors and operators who need it done right the first time.
Our story
Where it all started
Alltech Power was founded by a senior team with over 40 years of combined experience in high-voltage electrical and power transformer work across Western Australia.
Having delivered complex transformer scopes for major utilities, mining operators and oil and gas principals, our founders saw the opportunity to offer something genuinely valuable: a specialist contractor with deep technical capability and the responsiveness of a dedicated, hands-on operation. Alltech Power was built around that idea and we hold that standard on every job.

How we work for you
You speak to the person doing the work
The technician running your job answers the phone and stays on the tools, so your questions get a technical answer the same day, not a callback from an office.
You know where your job stands, every day
We brief you at the morning pre-start on what we plan to do and sit down with you at the end of each day to cover progress and any issues. Nothing on your site catches you out.
Your handover closes cleanly
Every scope is recorded on inspection and test records, so your principal gets the documentation they need at practical completion and you are not chasing paperwork after we leave.
Your job is planned before we mobilise
We inspect the site, meet your team and walk the work area before we bring equipment in, so the plan is built on what is actually there.

Cooper Allin, Founder and Director [CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: confirm title]
Cooper founded Alltech Power after [CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: years] years in high-voltage maintenance, starting with an apprenticeship in major maintenance work. Power transformers and switchgear are his specialty. He holds a Western Power authorisation personally and is on site for Alltech scopes, so the person who quotes your job is the person who delivers it.

Our work in action

Supporting mental health in the communities we work in
Alltech Power's affiliation with the Blue Tree Project reflects its commitment to mental health awareness. The Blue Tree Project is a national charity that paints trees blue across regional and remote Australia, using them as visible reminders to check in and start conversations about mental health. Operating across remote and regional communities, Alltech Power backs this cause because it speaks directly to the high rates of isolation and suicide in outback towns, championing the message that "it's okay not to be okay" among field crews and local towns.
Regional Connection & Safety
- Remote Workforce: HV teams frequently work in isolated regional and rural areas where mental health strains and loneliness are high.
- Shared Values: Just as safety is paramount on high-voltage job sites, emotional safety and looking out for mates are core to the Blue Tree Project.
- Breaking Stigma: Vibrant blue trees act as powerful visual beacons, reminding mobile workforces to start tough conversations and check in on colleagues.
Community and Cultural Impact
- Grassroots Roots: Originating in Western Australia, the charity resonates deeply with industries rooted in regional Australia.
- Visible Commitment: Supporting the foundation provides a tangible way for APS to give back to the regional communities they work and pass through.
In 2024 Alltech Power organised a Lavan Charity Challenge team to complete the South32 Rottnest Channel Swim. In doing so we raised over $3000 to be donated to the Blue Tree Project, further strengthening our commitment to the cause.
